Flyers phenom Carter Hart is the real deal. Earlier in the week, some fans were uncertain of how management would handle the “Future” netminder moving forward. Some fans were calling for Hart to be sent down to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, to figure out this “Speed” bump, where others said it’s normal growing pains of a Goaltender (To include Carey Price). The main thing is people have to remember he is just 21-years-old, and eventually Hart will figure this out. It’s the nature of the business, and believe me he will figure it out sooner rather than later. Without further delay, here are our answers to your questions.

Fletcher just made a round of call-ups to send a message to the club, this was step 1. Now if the Flyers still don’t respond positively from this, then he will be forced to act on step 2, which is a trade.

I think the Flyers will improve honestly. In my preview article before the season began I wanted them to be at .500 by the end of October. Somethings to consider were heavy travel, learning a new system Offensively and Defensively. However, now it’s on the players to perform.

The call-up of Carsen Twarynski helps the fourth line tremendously. In addition, German Rubtsov plays well Defensively, and is gifted offensively. Let’s see what happens. If they do not improve by the end of November, then Fletcher will make a move.

There really isn’t a “Core” anymore. Claude Giroux, Jake Voracek, and Sean Couturier are it. However, if things don’t improve this month, then Fletcher will most likely make some moves. He will not sit back, nor Alain Vigneault, and let this free fall continue.

Nolan Patrick remains week-to-week, per Fletcher. However, he did practice fully with the team once last week in a non-contact Jersey, so that is a step in the right direction. He also used as special tinted visor to alleviate any glare that may affect him. This is all good news. It is my belief that Patrick will return from IR, before Frost receives a call-up from the big club.
