Waste of an article. He’s not going anywhere. This is on the players. The short camp didn’t help this team at all. But all you have to watch is the turn overs, Zegras passing the puck to no one, Dvorak looks slow as well as many other players, no speed through the neutral zone. Martone, foerster, TK, more turnovers and can’t make a six foot pass without hitting a apposing player. They dump in and never recover the puck. We have three players against one or two of theirs and they come away with the puck, we need better dmen for sure. Jirichek and Bonk, York, Benoit, we need to upgrade drastically. We got the goalies, now we have to build outward. Figure out the defense, then the center position. Build from the goalie out has always been the best formula. Carleson would have been a huge add, but we’d still have the same defense and problems.

I think this season’s start by the Flyers is HUGELY concerning–getting outshot 2-1 and only 5 goals thru 4 games. Why? What gives here? This is largely on Tocchet…..not an once of improvement on the PP either.
I’m very concerned. If they don’t get it together soon this could be a very, very long season.

Bonk doesn’t have to be waived to be sent down, the other guys do.Benoit also plays the right side which could leave jirichek as the 7th dman. You’re not giving Benoit any chance of playing in the top six spots, and I think your way off there. There’s a reason why we traded for him. Big physical dman, and better than you give him credit for. Danny says he could absolutely play higher up than what the media projects. I’ll listen to the GM over any media member 100% of the time.

A class guy all around for sure. Smart, kind, funny, and he knows his Flyers hockey inside and out. He’s well loved and respected in this town and it’s all very much deserved.

Offer sheet or trade for Fantilli, don’t do 18 a yr…but he’s 21, give him 13.5 on 4yrs. If that doesn’t work, go after Wright, shouldn’t be too costly.
