Former Flyers Forward Kevin Hayes has signed a one-year contract with Ak Bars Kazan (AK Bars) of the KHL for the 2026-27 season..
The 34-year-old American Center/Winger, a UFA after completing his seven-year deal originally signed with the Flyers in 2019, joins the Russian club following two seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins. In 2025-26 he appeared in 28 regular-season games for Pittsburgh (4 goals, 8 points) and did not play in the playoffs.

- Drafted 24th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010; never played for them and signed with the New York Rangers as a free agent in 2014.
