Tyson Foerster is off to a really rough start in 2026-27: One goal, 0 assists in 11 games with a -8 rating and just a 4% shooting percentage.

For a guy who was scoring at a near 40-goal pace before the big injury last year (13 goals in 29 games), and who just signed a long-term extension, the production has been underwhelming. He’s still getting decent ice time (17:30 a night) and power-play looks, but the points simply aren’t coming.

A minor hand injury that cost him a game earlier this week hasn’t helped either. It’s still early, and he’s shown before that he can heat up and drive play as a physical, shot-generating winger. But at the moment? Yeah… pretty disappointing.
Foerster isn’t the only one struggling
Jamie Drysdale and Noah Cates both, offense has been a team-wide issue for long stretches. So they are no different than Foerster.
Hopefully, these Veterans find some rhythm or chemistry to their games, or the team could really suffer as the season wears on.
