The Flyers have re-signed Goaltender Aleksei Kolosov to a one-year contract extension today (May 15, 2026).
Key Details:
- Terms: One year with an AAV of $850,000.
- This keeps the 24-year-old Belarusian netminder under team control as he was set to become an RFA this summer after his entry-level contract (3 years, $925K cap hit) expired at the end of the 2025-26 season.
Kolosov has split time between the Flyers and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season, with multiple recalls. The deal suggests the Flyers are giving him another look in the organization as they sort out their Goaltending depth behind Samuel Ersson and others.
