Claude Giroux will be back in the lineup tonight for the Flyers. He skated today with Justin Braun and a few other Flyers players to include Maksim Sushko and Carsen Twarynski at a scarce morning skate today.

Giroux will be a welcomed addition into the lineup tonight. The Flyers have been playing with a Phantoms lineup the past few games, and they were in desperate need of at least one of their six regulars that are currently out under the Covid protocol to return.

“I think he’s gonna want to play,” Alain Vigneault said following the morning skate today. Even though, Vigneault did not specifically say Giroux will, this indeed hints that he will.

The Captain will also play in his 903rd game as a Flyer tonight, which will tie Bill Barber for second All-Time in games played in franchise history. Hopefully the Flyers are able to come out on top over the New York Rangers at 7pm tonight.

One other bit of news is Mark Friedman was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Penguins. I had this feeling yesterday that Friedman would get claimed by Hextall as Hexy drafted him in 2014.
