Morgan Frost, Travis Konecny, and Claude Giroux have this team riding high at the moment. After a four-point night from Giroux, Frost and Konecny combined for five more points from that line. Let’s not forget Brian Elliott played awesome last night, as well. Hopefully, this is a sign of good things to come from this young Flyers team. Without further delay, here are our answers to your questions.

Morgan Frost killed it in his NHL debut. What a beauty of a goal he scored, so absolutely you can marry it. Here it is for your viewing pleasure:

@rickybrown with a great video

Frost sure looks like Danny Briere these days. My gosh three points in two games played to the orange and black (2g, 1a). That might be the only correlation between him and Briere.

Alain Vigneault placed Jakub Voracek on a line to produce. While playing with Oskar Lindblom, and Sean Couturier, he played a solid game last night against the Carolina Hurricanes, asides from the two penalties he took in the first seven minutes of the game. JVR also played well on the fourth line, and he provided a nice screen on Frost’s goal last night. All in all I was very happy with both Voracek’s and JVR’s play last night.

Gritty’s favorite Thanksgiving pie is pumpkin pie of course. Pumpkin pie looks like Gritty sort of speak. I hope you and your family have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Oskar Lindblom should receive a contract much like Travis Konecny, just with less years. Lindblom is tearing it up, and he is proving to be a top 6 winger in this league. A top 6 winger should be paid like Konecny, but I think Lindblom will receive a three-year deal, worth $5.5 million per year. It is two years less then Konecny, but Fletcher would like to have Lindblom as an RFA contract, rather than a UFA contract. In doing so, a player that is not 27-years-old, or has played less than seven years in the NHL, that team may retain the player as an RFA, rather than a UFA. We shall see, but I think a bridge deal works in this case.

Alain Vigneault is pushing all the right buttons in an effort in making this a consistent hockey team. Some players are taking accountability for their play with the likes of Voracek and JVR. That is a step in the right direction.

The youth have done a phenomenal job thus far. However, the Flyers need consistent production from their Vets. For instance, Giroux, Voracek, Michael Raffl, and JVR. Last night’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes is a step in the right direction, now the Vets have to remain consistent. The Goaltending has been good for the most part through the first 22 games. Now it’s the offenses turn to step up.

Scott Laughton will become the fourth line Center, and Raffl will slide back to the Left Wing. Andy Andreoff will more than likely be returned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and Nolan Patrick will be placed on LTIR. This would allow the Flyers to add Laughton back to the lineup tomorrow.

Johnny hockey would be an awesome addition to the lineup. However, the Calgary Flames are against the cap, so the Flyers would have to trade some young players in order for this deal to transpire. The Flyers would have to eat a ton of money if they wanted to move Voracek or JVR, that’s just being realistic. The Flyers could be interested, but I believe this is a move they would like to make at the trade deadline.

During the season, I do not foresee a core member like Voracek or JVR being moved. I believe this is a move they would make in the off-season, much like the P.K. Subban deal.

There is no update on Wade Allison, per the PR of the WMU Broncos Adam Bodnar. All the information that people were given was he was on the injured list last game. Hopefully, it was not in relation to his prior “Upper Body” injury that he sustained a few weeks ago.

Fletcher should re-up Lindblom sooner, rather than later. Lindblom will receive around the same contract as Konecny, as he is a top six Forward in this league. Just the amount of years would be in question. Couturier and Lindblom could be re-upped with Voracek on the roster, to not include a JVR contract. The expansion draft is a great way to get rid of a Voracek or JVR contract.

Danny Briere. Guy is a class act, and beloved by Philadelphians. Next is Claude Giroux.

During the season, I do not foresee a core member like Voracek or JVR being moved. I believe this is a move they would make in the off-season, much like the P.K. Subban deal. The biggest disappointment for me this season is Voracek, hands down he has to improve.

During the season, I do not foresee a core member like Voracek or JVR being moved. I believe this is a move they would make in the off-season, much like the P.K. Subban deal. However, I do believe Shayne Gostisbehere could very well be moved at the deadline.

Frost’s call-up is not in relation to Nolan Patrick. Per the Flyers, Patrick continues to skate, and is making progress. Unfortunately, he is still not cleared for contact. According to Fletcher, Patrick is still week to week.

NAK has played just ok do far this season in 17 games played. He currently has four goals, and one assist on the season. NAK more than likely is an after thought at this point for a call-up, unless it has to deal with the fourth line. NAK isn’t consistent enough to deem a call-up.
