The Philadelphia Flyers completed their 2020 NHL Entry Draft with only five players selected. However, it seems that the Flyers did a good job going for players with high potential. With 4 forwards and 1 defenseman taken in the draft the Flyers showed that their attitude was to pick the best player available at every round and hope that they might of found a diamond in the ruff. From first round pick Tyson Foerster to sixth round Connor McClennon, every player taken is a player with an NHL upside. With the Flyers sporting arguably the deepest prospect pool in the NHL, the Flyers focused on quality over quantity by trading up during the draft and getting guys like Zayde Wisdom who was a very popular candidate among NHL teams.

On this weeks episode of the Gettin Gritty Wit It podcast, Yariv welcomes back on special guest, ‎Steve Kournianos, the founder of The Draft Analyst. Steve covered the draft very closes and has a plethora of experience watching the kids available in 2020. Steve brings a wide array of scouting knowledge and experience to the Flyers side of the table as he shares his thoughts on the NHL Entry Draft results and the Philadelphia Flyers prospect selections.
