Oliver Bonk is a 21-year-old right-shot defenseman (6’2 drafted 22nd overall by the Flyers in 2023), that will make his Post-Season Debut tonight in a pivotal Game 4. It’s win or go home for the Flyers.

Bonk’s played mostly in the AHL this season with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (46 GP, 6G-13A-19P) but made his NHL Debut on April 14, 2026, vs. Montreal, where he scored a goal and added an assist in a 4-2 win.

- Game: Philadelphia Flyers vs. Carolina Hurricanes (Eastern Conference Second Round, Game 4). Carolina leads the series 3-0 and is pushing for a sweep. Game time is ~6:00 PM ET (TNT). espn.com
- Flyers are facing elimination at home and have little to lose, so lineup changes were under consideration.
- Flyers’ Head Coach Rick Tocchet discussed Bonk as a possible insertion into the defense for Game 4 to spark the team or give a fresh look on the Power Play at morning skate.

All in all, Bonk will make his Post -Season Debut tonight.
