Newly signed Owen Micciche had a great night with the Flyers

Last night was the Flyers Hockey Fights Cancer awareness game, and with that the Flyers made a signing. They signed 9-year-old forward Owen Micciche. Micciche is from Upper Black Eddy, PA. He was present at warm-ups on the ice, and it turns out he was the actual star of the game.

According to the Flyers, Micciche wears #85 is a forward for the Genesis Hockey Club where he serves as captain of the team. He continues his fight against cancer and if you would like more information here is the link below.

Owen was happy to attend warm-ups and our very own Rob Windfelder was present in the press box last night, and was able to obtain a picture and video of Owen.

Let’s continue to keep going in his family in our thoughts and prayers. At least on one special night he was special and was able to be a kid again. Great classy stuff by the Flyers organization all the way around.
