The Flyers are in the midst of a youth infused season. Finally, we are seeing some of the hidden talents that have been stockpiled in various leagues throughout the world trickling into the big club. Of course, young players will make their fair share of mistakes; however, should they learn from them and continue to grow, a young and talented Flyers team will also become a dangerous one. These young players will hopefully share the same successes as The Beatles did with their hit album, “Abbey Road.”

Morgan Frost has been recalled by the Flyers, and hopefully he makes this young team a consistent one. The Flyers offense has been inconsistent as of late. One game they score three goals, the next game they score just one goal. Hopefully, Frost corrects this inconsistency, and is able to produce as a third line Center in the NHL.

Frost has proven in just his first Professional season that he can push the play, and play with the pace of the game. Yes, Frost has not tallied a point in his last three games, however, Frost still has 12 points in 16 games played (5g, 7a) for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

This young stud in Frost has earned this call-up, and the Flyers could really use his speed. The Flyers could really use his speed up and down the lineup, and maybe Frost fits in well in Alain Vigneault’s system. Vigneault’s system requires speed and back checking, and that is an area of Frost’s game that has improved the most over the course of the past few seasons, “I like to be a playmaker and an offensive threat, but at the same time a responsible player in the defensive zone,” Frost said to me at training camp. One thing is for certain, the time is now for Frost.
