Michael Bunting is listed as wearing #58 to the Flyers Media Website.
Bunting has worn #58 for most of his NHL career (Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars, and now the Flyers). The main exception was a short stint with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2024, when he wore #8 because Kris Letang already had 58.
After signing a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Flyers on October 6, 2026. Bunting will play Left or Right Wing, but I would presume he’s more comfortable on the left.
