The Flyers rookies/prospects beat the New York Rangers rookies 3-2 in Game 1 of the 2026 Rookie Series on Saturday night at the PPL Center in Allentown.
Goals came from Cole Knuble, Alex Bump, and Matthew Gard. Bump added an assist, and both he and Knuble were noted as standouts. Goaltender Carson Bjarnason played well in net.
This is the first of the annual two-game set between the clubs’ prospects. Game 2 is scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday, Sept. 13) at 5:05 p.m. ET, also at PPL Center.
