The wait is over. Flyers young defenseman Cam York made his NHL debut against the Washington Capitals. Is the hype real? What was noticed? Let’s get into it.

York’s impressive debut

Like mentioned above, the welcome party for young Flyers Defenseman Cam York was quite the celebration. He played an impressive game all the way. Racking up 20:59 in ice time, registering one shot on goal, not only that, his ability to see the ice was most impressive, with his skating abilities. He was picking off passes and making veteran plays. Cam York is going to be something special.

The “Wade-Train” is rollin

Another young player who continues to impress, Flyers forward Wade Allison had his best game yet. Scoring two goals against the Caps to nail down a win for the Flyers. Certainly seeing his play getting better and better. Safe to say, there should be a roster spot available next season for the young rising star.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
