Bobby Brink is set to make his NHL debut tonight against the Washington Capitals. Brink is fresh off of National Championship, as he looks too impress for the orange and black.

As stated above, Brink and Denver University won a National Championship this past Saturday against Minnesota State. The very next day Brink signed an NHL contract with the Flyers, the next day after that he’s at Flyers practice and was told that he would be making his NHL Debut tonight. All in all, it’s been one hell of a 72 hours for Brink in a good way.

“No. If he did, I’d punch him,” Cam York said when asked if Brink rubbed in winning a National Championship against the Michigan Wolverines.

“It’s been a hard path, a lot of work has gone in to get to this moment.” – Bobby Brink

This 5’9, 163 pound, winger has a keen hockey IQ, as his hockey since ranks off the charts. That fuels the void given his size, as Brink continues to make the right plays when he is on the ice. It’s how he became this year’s NCAA leading point scorer, and he has a lethal wrist shot to pair with his good hockey sense.

He will be featured on a line with Travis Konecny and Scott Laughton, two viable good vets. Brink will become the 8th player to make his NHL Debut this season for the Flyers: Linus Sandin, Felix Sandström, Ronnie Attard, Max Willman, Isaac Ratcliffe, Noah Cates, and Hayden Hodgson are the others.

With this being a lost Flyers season it’s a good way to let Brink get some taste of NHL action, and who knows he may surprise some people in the end.

  1. “As his hockey since ranks off the charts”. I can always tell when I am reading a Baskow article, as it appears he has never had a second grade English course in his life
