With an 8-3-2 record the Philadelphia Flyers have found themselves once again halted by COVID-19. With Claude Giroux, Justin Braun, and Travis Sanheim all on the COVID protocol list and several other teams around the league dealing with the virus, the NHL has decided to postpone the games and resume practices on February 15th if all goes well. This stoppage actually came at an opportune moment as the Flyers were missing some key players early in this season and they could use the extra time to heal their bodies. One thing is for sure, when the the team returns the expectations will go up and the demand to play a full 60 minute game will be expected on a nightly basis.

On this episode of Gettin Gritty Wit It, I welcome new guest Bill Matz (@BILLadelphia1) on the show to talk about the Flyers’ current 2nd place standing in the East division, all of the current roster issues, special teams, and Ron Hextall’s new GM role with the Penguins. Check out this rowdy episode as Yariv and Bill get it in.
