Hello and welcome back to a very special edition of The Hockey Writers Ink. Steel and I were lucky enough to have a blast from the Flyers past join us to talk about my latest article. Featured below.

In this article I talked about a Flyers goaltender from the past who after being drafted extremely late in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, where once drafted saw his stock suddenly rise exponentially. Which made the Flyers drool with anticipation for the change to bring there now prized prospect over from Sweden. That prospect was non other than Tommy Soderstrom. Although his time here was short (due to an unexpected medical condition) he, unlike most goaltenders when they depart from the team is still well favored by the Flyers faithful to this day and he too is still very fond of the city that drafted him all those years ago now.

So come join us on this can’t miss episode (by clicking the link below) as we have a sit down with the goaltender who inspired me to want to play hockey as we ask him all types of questions and he shares all kinds of stories from his time in Philadelphia. Â
