Back in the saddle again, I return from vacation and am ready to go with two new articles to discuss. So, without further ado, let’s get this started by diving into the first one.

Drafted way back in 2018, center Jay O’Brien still finds himself without a contract offer, despite being one of the best players on an outstanding Boston University team. Having played at or near a points-per-game pace for the past two years, O’Brien has done enough, in my mind, to deserve his chance at proving himself at the professional level. Still, it is becoming abundantly clear that this leftover Hextall draft pick will not be wearing orange and black anytime soon. So, my question then becomes; why don’t you try and get something for him? And that is just what I proposed with two different options.

Next up for discussion on the show is who might Philadelphia draft to try and replenish their prospect goaltending vacancy that opened up when the Flyers finally decided to sign their massive 6’8 goaltending prospect Ivan Fedotov? As always, I have someone in mind. If you wish to know who it might be, come watch Steel and me as we talk him up.

Lastly, while I was away, the Flyers finally signed a new head coach, and Steel wishes to get my thoughts on the matter, which I gladly oblige him by offering up my two cents on the subject.
