Hello and welcome to another special edition of the Hockey Writers Ink. In this episode, Steel and I are getting ready for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft with my picks of who the Flyers should select not only in the first round, where some so-called experts’ knowledge stops but through all seven rounds.  That’s right; I said seven because even though Philadelphia does not currently have a second-round pick this year, some insiders have said despite that fact, they were doing their due diligence anyway on projected second-rounders at the combine. Could that be a hint that they may want to move up? Who knows, but just in case management does decide to sneak into the tail end of the second to take a player that they think will not be there come the beginning of the third round, I made a suggestion for them then to.

This all, of course, is based off my most recent article, which you can read by clicking the link below.

I genuinely believe there is a lot of future NHL talent in this year’s draft, even coming from the later rounds. This year like no other, will be interesting because with COVID causing the OHL to shut down last season, there are many more players to be had that didn’t get the chance to prove themselves to the masses in their draft year.

So, without further ado, let’s get this selection process underway.
