Dan Vladar won the Bobby Clarke Trophy (team MVP, voted by local media) for 2025-26 in his first year with Philly after signing as a free agent. He also picked up the Yannick Dupre “Class Guy” award for character.

Quick highlights:
- Career highs: 52 GP, 51 starts, 29 wins, 2.42 GAA, .906 SV%.
- Key to the Flyers making the playoffs (their first in years).
- In Round 1 vs. Pittsburgh, he was lights out — .937 SV%, 1.61 GAA, 2 shutouts in 6 games, including a massive 42-save shutout in Game 6 to close the series.
“Goosebumps. They’ve had our back since the beginning of the year. Sorry we weren’t able to deliver more hockey for them, but I can speak for all our group, we gave it all we had,” Dan Vladar said of Flyers’ fans cheering them after a series defeat on home ice to the Carolina Hurricanes. “I’m so happy I got a chance to experience it (Playoff hockey in Philly), and I’m hungry for more.”

Teammates, coaches, and fans have been calling him the heart and soul of the team all year — not just for his play in net, but for how vocal, positive, and locked-in he is in the locker room. That’s rare for a goalie.
Vladar clearly loves being in Philly. He’s been hyped about the fans, the atmosphere, playoff hockey in this city — you can see it every time he talks. Dude bought in immediately and delivered. DAN THE MAN!!!!
