NHL Free Agency does not begin until tomorrow at noon, however, teams can get a head start in potentially signing players, as nothing is guaranteed until it’s official.

Nonetheless, the Flyers have apparently agreed to terms with Left-Handed Defenseman Keith Yandle, and according to Elliote Friedman it’s a one-year for $900,000.

The cap hit will be interesting as it’s likely a third pairing role for Yandle, so the cap hit is interesting as to what it would be. In addition, this also gives Cam York and Egor Zamula more time to develop, and provides them healthy competition to best out a vet for a spot.

What will happen between now and tomorrow is anyone’s guess. But, the Flyers are still actively searching for a backup Goaltender for Carter Hart. Stay tuned Flyers fans.
