Martone’s jersey sales have surged dramatically—reports cite increases of around 1,174% to 1,714% since the playoffs started—fueled by his strong performance, including game-winning goals in his first two playoff appearances and helping the Flyers jump to a 3-0 series lead over the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Eastern Conference First Round.
This buzz is especially notable for a young rookie stepping up big in the postseason, creating a lot of excitement among Flyers fans (and beyond). The Flyers as a team are also seeing strong jersey/team sales overall during the playoffs, alongside teams like the Sabres and Canadiens.
