E155 – More Changes To Come For The Flyers?

There are big changes brewing in Flyerville, as the team continues to win in the background. The Flyers are 5-1-1 during the Daniel Briere era as the energy around the organization continues to change. And with former Flyers’ chairman. Dave Scott, retiring and replaced with newcomer Dan Hilferty, the changes are not just hitting the Flyers roster, but the organizational structure all together. A lot of fans have been rooting for this to happen for a few years now and these changes have been music to their ears. Combine that with the recent success of Morgan Frost, Owen Tippett, Joel Farabee, Noah Cates, Cam York, and more there has to be some consideration that part of the solution to turning the franchise around is already in house. They have no only exceeded expectations of late, but they are doing it with little veteran support. It will be interesting to see how they evolve leading into the 2023-24 NHL season.

On this episode of Gettin Gritty Wit It, Yariv and Vasili take a long look at where the Flyers are as they continue to develop the young talent while keeping themselves mildly successful. With all of the changes made to the organization, we speculate as to what is coming down the line and what the fanbase can anticipate with the current roster at seasons end.
