The Philadelphia Flyers find themselves in a familiar position. The fanbase has been met with surprising news of Matt Niskanen leaving and the panic begins to fill the internet airwaves. The recent retiring of Niskanen has left a void in the Flyers locker room and everyone can feel it. However, this has always been a young team growing together and while Niskanen was a great addition to the team, he was never part of the long term plan. With Yegor Zamula, Wyatte Wylie, Wade Allison, Tanner Laczynski, and Linus Sandin all joining the pro’s developing the talent from within is the name of the game. This is what the Flyers worked so hard to create and it’s time to leverage it.
