After one of the worst losses in franchise history, the Flyers defeated a tough New York Islanders team last night 4-3 off the back of the Flyers fans beloved Oskar Lindblom.

#OskarStrong strikes twice

A great feeling for the Flyers was seeing their young hero, Oskar Lindblom net two goals in this game. Something fans have been wanting and waiting to see this season was for him to get it going. Coming off a healthy scratch day, Lindblom jumped in and took over. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

TK the contributor

It’s been a quiet season for Travis Konecny, as he has not point produced like most expected. That being said, TK had three assists last night to help out his club secure the victory. Whether it may be scoring a goal, a big hit, or an assist, it’s great to see him contributing in the points department. Strong game for TK.

Hart gets the Win

A struggling Carter Hart was back in net and played a solid game. A game he really needed to win, for the team, and for his confidence. It was a solid performance overall for the young goalie finishing with 22 saves on 25 shots. Was he perfect, no, the one criticism that I have is he has to work on his glove side, but other than that this should be a big boost in confidence. I look for Hart to make consecutive starts here.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
