That’s it, now the offseason begins. Unfortunately, the Flyers finished the season 25-23-8, and missed the playoffs after a season that began with high expectations. What will transpire this offseason? Well find out from Alain Vigneault and Chuck Fletcher below.

  1. Alain Vigneault, “I came to Philly to win the Stanley Cup. He is going to need some time to reflect on the season. I might want to change how I handled or how I did things. I need to get the emotion out of the way.”
  2. Fletcher says some of the fault falls on the players.
  3. Alain Vigneault said some players who live in Canada might need to make adjustments in their Summer plans in terms of ice and working out. He said some Canadian players (Where ice and gyms were more restricted) had a tough time asides from Giroux.
  4. Chuck Fletcher: “Our leaders played hard this year.” He mentioned Claude Giroux, Jake Voracek, and Sean Couturier. He said Jake lead the team in scoring.
  5. Chuck Fletcher’s blueprint for the offseason: 1. Defense 2. Goaltending 3. Younger players need to be better
  6. Alain Vigneault on the Flyers season: “Said goaltending, and then Covid hit us. We played games, we did not practice. Those youngers players when their games slip a little they have to practice. We didn’t have practice time. That played a part in our game slipping.”
  7. Fletcher says Carter Hart is back to full health
  8. Vigneault says, “I need a normal season. I want to go through a normal camp, and playoffs.”
  9. Flecther and Vigneault defend Nolan Patrick. Both believe he will come back strong, and be able to return well next season. It appears he will be back.
  10. Vigneault, “Patrick is a good player for us. It was challenging for him.”
  11. Fletcher on Carter Hart: “He’ll make the adjustments he needs to make and he’ll return to form (next season).”

  1. What you need to do with Hart is hire a goalie who played the same style as him to help teach him what he’s doing wrong like Patrick Roy for instance he played the same style & is About the same size as Hart is perfect teacher
