Reading, PA – USA! USA! USA! Royals defeat Railers in overtime on ‘Team USA Night.’ Former Royal Kaden Fulcher started in net for Worcester, back-to-back games against former Reading netminders. Parker Gahagen got the start, kind of fitting he started on ‘Team USA Night’ given that he has served. Matt Brown picks up a huge three-point night along with GWG. Shane Sellar also stays hot and picks up the two-point night

RECAP

An even period after 20 minutes in downtown Reading. Daylan Kuefler kicked things off, the Worcester forward fired the puck past Gahagen at 5:55 on the man advantage. The Royals goaltender seemed to have trouble staying solid to the shooter. The net in Worcester’s attacking zone for the 1st and 3rd seemed to have a lot of trouble staying on the ice all game and the first goal was quite evidence of the issue to the goaltenders throughout the game. Tag Bertuzzi evened things up with his seventh of the season, a snipe past the blocker of Fulcher at 9:21.

Another even frame in the scoring column, the second period had each club with a goal. John Copeland was the first tally, a top-shelf wrister just as time expired on the power play at 15:07. Shane Sellar knotted things up with his power-play goal, a back door feed from Ouellet at 19:03. I said even in the scoring because the period wasn’t evenly played all the momentum seemed to be on Reading’s side except the fact that they were on the penalty kill. Shots for the second were 12-5 in favor of the Royals

Would ya believe me if I told you both teams only scored a goal each yet again? Both teams did just that except this time Reading found the back of the net first. Matt Brown put the Royals ahead with his ninth of the season, a wrister over the Worcester netminder at 5:58. The Railers would head on to the man advantage following a Trevor Thurston elbowing minor at 12:34, and Worcester would take full advantage. Blade Jenkins netted the game-tying goal, firing home the rebound past a sprawling Gahagen at 14:10.

60 minutes was not enough, Matt Brown said 63:18 is. Brown used his amazing speed to create a 2-on-1 break with Tag Bertuzzi and after doopsie-daisying their way in Brownie slid a beautiful backhand shot past a sprawled-out Railers goaltender. Matt Brown’s tenth of the season, second of the night came at 3:18 into the overtime.

Reading was 1 for 4 on the power play, and Worcester who scored 2 out of 3 of their goals was 2 for 5 on the man advantage. All of their goals would’ve been on the man advantage had Bricknell’s penalty finished a couple of seconds later.

The text in your post seem to be running off the screen in Internet explorer.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with web browser compatibility
but I thought I’d post to let you know. The design and style look great
though! Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Many thanks
