It’s just great to be home, it’s a sense of relief, the home cooking, seeing family and friends. Just seeing Oskar Lindblom’s jubilant face night in and night out really brought a smile to most Peoples’ faces, and then boom he was bought by the orange and black.
Now Lindblom will return home and play for Brynäs IF in Sweden, as he only played in one game for the San Jose Sharks this past season. For the most part, he played for the San Jose Barracuda’s, the Sharks AHL affiliate.
Lindblom would brighten everyone’s day when he was a member of the Flyers. The young man in Lindblom was always upbeat and respectful. He gave the team a sense of hope, and was always a ray of sunshine when he returned to the NHL after his unfortunate Cancer diagnosis. Lindblom is so strong, and mentally tough.
Athletes are human too. Lindblom is always happy, upbeat, and in good spirits daily. Whatever the case maybe, Lindblom it’s always great to see you back home, and on the ice with the boys doing what he loves to do best. Everyone remain #OskarStrong. We are in this fight together with Lindblom. That bell being rung, was the most beautiful noise I have heard, Fuck Cancer.
