From benching the Flyers Captain to a goalie carousel once again. It’s been a week for the orange and black. Without further delay, here are our answers to your questions.

First and foremost, the easiest way to acquire young elite talent is through the draft. Fortunately, the Flyers have 10 picks in this upcoming draft, and some of these said assets could be used to move up within the draft. Danny Briere could use them this year or next year. The draft is unpredictable, so even if it’s not the strongest draft, there could be some great players to be had still.

The up coming NHL draft will be interesting, in terms of how the Flyers will move up and down throughout the draft, especially with the plethora of assets they have to do such. They need a high-end Center so we’ll be interesting to see if they are able to obtain that at the draft.

Another way would be moving a prized young Prospect and a roster player, and of course multiple picks for a young player that may have fell out of Grace’s with that particular franchise. Maybe a team like the Minnesota Wild would be willing to part ways with one of their young studs.

Morgan Frost is really producing for the Flyers at a high rate, so no I don’t believe they will look to move him, unless it’s for a high-end asset. Danny Briere we’re listening on every player, make no mistake about it, but that doesn’t mean that a move is imminent or serious. Just because a General Manager takes one call for a player like Frost, that doesn’t mean that he’s looking to move him, that’s what’s misconstrued about rumors.

Frost has really grown as in NHL player in the past few months since his last benching. He’s been more consistent, and he’s playing with the pace at the Flyers like. I think he’s turned a corner developmental wise, so no I don’t think they’re going to move him, especially with the lack of depth down the middle.

It will be interesting to see how the Flyers front office handles Alexei Kolosov when he arrives here in a week or two. Keith Jones said on a Podcast Snow the Goalie that he will more than likely play for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms when he arrives. The Flyers would be given a 10-day trial uf they elected to have one, but for his development and to grow as a pro he will more than likely start with the Phantoms and stay there.

Garnet Hathaway has been an excellent addition to the Flyers lineup. When he first signed, it definitely was a need that the Flyers were missing throughout their lineup, on and off the ice. Hathaway is one the Flyers will try to re-sign. I do not envision him going anywhere else but Philadelphia, John Tortorella is very high on him.

I really appreciate the condolences, from my family and I. This is the toughest thing I’ve ever dealt with, but my mom would want me to continue writing. Thank you to everyone for all your thoughts and supports through this difficult time.
