After Keith Jones was named as the Flyers President of Hockey Operations he’s been very busy conducting various interviews regarding taking on the role. While doing so, Jones has shed some light on the Flyers outlook moving ahead and his view of the team building process that needs to be implemented.

An interesting excerpt Jones provided is the Flyers are not in a rush to make any big moves. The reference being made was the thought process of building the roster in the right way.

From my perspective this outlines the organization’s plans to take a strategic approach. Starting with an assessment of the available options. Then evaluating what types of transactions and potential trades that could benefit the Flyers and their current “rebuilding state”.

On this week’s Gettin Gritty Wit It episode we delved into Jones’ thought process he’s exhibited within these interviews. Along with our perception on what the Flyers off-season plan appears to be geared towards.
