There are some Lehigh Valley Phantoms players that are battling a sickness with the likes of Adam Ginning and Adam Karashik. What this does is deplete the system, mainly the Reading Royals. Before last night’s game the Royals recalled Mason Millman and Charlie Gerard.

The neat thing with recalls like this is it opens opportunities to players that play in the SPHL (Southern Professional Hockey League) or FPHL (Federal Prospect Hockey League). Well the coolest thing has transpired for a 26-year-old in Houston Wilson, as he was recalled to the Reading Royals today. This young man hails from the Delaware Thunder in the FPHL, and is a Right-Winger.

He’s a team first player that formerly played for a DIII school in Stevenson University. Wilson is one heck of a player for the Thunder, as he has netted nine goals and 15 assists in 33 games played. Wilson is a solid skater for being 6’0 weighing 181 pounds.

For the time being the Royals have been given some offensive flare, and one that is not afraid to throw down the mitts. Wilson I’m sure is ecstatic, and this is one he k of an opportunity for a player that was hoping for his time to shine. Best of luck Wilson, he will make the Thunder fans proud.
