Dan Vladar (Vladař) is starting in net for the Flyers in Game 2 tonight (May 4, 2026) against the Carolina Hurricanes.

- Game 1 (May 2): Hurricanes won 3-0 in Raleigh. Vladar made 20 saves on 23 shots in the loss. Carolina jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period. espn.com
- Owen Tippett: He missed Game 1 with an undisclosed injury (day-to-day). He remains questionable for Game 2 — Flyers are hopeful but it’s unclear if he’ll return tonight. He was their regular-season goals leader and a big momentum player.
Vladar has been excellent in the playoffs (multiple shutouts vs. Pittsburgh in Round 1) and is expected to get the nod again with no indications of a change. Frederik Andersen has been strong for Carolina too, setting up a strong goaltending duel.
Game 2 is at 7:00 PM EDT in Raleigh. Flyers need a big response on the road to avoid going down 0-2.
