Episode 4 – Carter Hart A New Hope
Carter Hart is the savior of Philadelphia Flyers goaltending situation. After a couple decades of goaltending mediocrity Hart has come in to bring an end to that trend. No pressure. Previous Flyers goaltenders have not had this amount of prestige coming into the league with numbers unseen from a prospect since Carey Price. Sergei Bobrovsky is a very talented player, and yet still was not on Hart’s level at the same age. Can Carter Hart live up to the names of Pelle Lindbergh, Ron Hextall, and Bernie Parent? Time will tell, but his game screams skill and maturity. There just doesn’t seem to be any issues with bringing that elite play to the NHL level. With a talented young core Hart is the key piece to a future Stanley Cup championship.

I was lucky enough to be a season ticket holder when he played for the Silvertips. I knew how special this kid was already, however it’s been a pleasant surprise to see how well he has transitioned to the nhl already.
What baffles me more than anything else, is we already know hes going to be a star, however nobody is talking about what a genuinely humble kid he is. He is so humble and kind, he is the type of player you want to also be an ambassador of the sport.
It’s amazing great young man in the locker room too
