Hockey addicts throughout the world are looking forward to the Lake Tahoe outdoor games this weekend, and in particular Flyers fans. Flyers fans are looking forward to the Boston Bruins/Flyers game on Sunday at 3pm EST.

This event is building up interest, and James van Riemsdyk talked about the Lake Tahoe game back on February 5, 2021:

“It will be way different and a totally different vibe in that sense. That’ll make this one special and definitely memorable. The scenery will be cool.”– James van Riemsdyk

We will continue to build steam in preparation of the Flyers game on Sunday. Here are some first pictures of the ice of where the Flyers will play the Bruins:

The NHL portal on the media website has a picture of the rink at night. The Flyers will play the Bruins at 3pm, so there is no need to show this picture at night…right now. I will save that picture for a later date.

Hopefully everything continues to get better with the Flyers Covid situation. They plan to practice today at 11am, so that’s a step in the right direction.

  1. Idk why any of us flyers fans are looking forward to playing a team we haven’t beat all year coming off none of our players practicing and most of our starts currently unavailable regardless… I hate the bruins worse than the penguins at this point and this is about as unprepared as we could be.
