The NHL Draft is approximately 24 hours away, and the Flyers have released their schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season. Here is everything you need to know about the Flyers’ schedule for the upcoming season.
The Flyers will open the season with a home game against the New Jersey Devils, and guess what folks the spectacle is part of a two-game home-stand to open the season.
There will be a total of 15 back to backs throughout the course of the season. This is typical, and it becomes reality that a normal season of hockey will ensue.
This young orange and black club will cap off the season in Chicago against the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday April 13, 2022. Hopefully the Flyers will be locked into playoff contention by then, as they are currently undergoing am “Aggressive Retool.”
The Flyers will post the Pittsburgh Penguins in their tradition of a Black Friday matchup on November 25. Pittsburgh is revisiting a rivalry entrenched in history. Hopefully the Flyers will sustain success against this club that might be without Evgeni Malkin, as he is an unrestricted free agent. It appears the Penguins are nearing a deal with Kris Letang, however.
The Flyers will play the Seattle Kraken for the first time on February 12 at home in front of their proud faithful, and the Flyers will still have their tradition of playing away during the holidays (End of December) consist of a five-game road swing.
