Zegras scored the game-winning goal (his 14th of the season) at 6:26 of the second period on a 2-on-1 rush, assisted by Travis Konecny and Emil Andrae. This extended his goal streak to a career-high four games and helped the Flyers secure a 4-1 victory, snapping a three-game skid.
He’s thriving in Philadelphia after being traded from the Anaheim Ducks in June 2025, with strong production this season (team-leading goals at the time and on pace for a career year).
Zegras has 14 goals and 19 assists, 33 Points total, in 32 games played. He now has more goals (14) and points (33) than all of last year. Zegras is on pace to shatter his career high of 65 points, as he leads Philly in scoring with 33 points
Flyers’ General Manager Danny Briere knows how important Zegras is to this lineup. He is a key cog that will will sign an extension, hopefully by the trade deadline, at the very least.
