Trevor Zegras is absolutely having a breakout year with the Flyers in the 2025-26 season. Zegras was traded from the Anaheim Ducks to the Flyers in June 2025 and has thrived in Philly.

As of early January 2026, Zegras has roughly 17 goals and 24 assists for 41 points, leading the team in scoring. That’s already more points than he had in some full previous seasons with the Ducks, and he’s on pace for potentially 80+ points—shattering his career high of 65.
Just last night (January 6, 2026), in his first game against his former team, he scored two goals (including a Power Play beauty) in a 5-2 Flyers win over the Ducks, stealing the show in an emotional matchup. The change of scenery has clearly unlocked his potential—he’s playing top-line minutes, quarterbacking the power play, and fitting perfectly into the Flyers’ lineup. Philly fans are loving it, and he’s a big reason the Flyers are competitive in the Metropolitan Division standings.

“This is home for me. I love being here, these guys are amazing. I’m having a blast,” Zegras said of Philadelphia following the game.
“F.cking amazing, f.cking amazing,” Zegras said after giving it to Anaheim. Definitely a killer year so far!!!
