Travis Konecny is a leader on and off the ice. He is having a good season for Philadelphia, and even more so as he will be playing at the World’s in the Summer.
“I’m happy for anyone on our team that makes the World’s.” – Flyers’ Interim Head Coach Brad Shaw

For his efforts, Konecny is moving up the All-Time leaderboard in Flyers history. He is now ranked 18th All-Time in scoring in Flyers history with 475 points.
Konecny has netted 198 goals and has registered 277 assists for his career. He’s just had a great career as a Flyer thus far.

Konecny talks like a future Captain, “Every player, when you look at it, has to show up and do their job every night. I know I can improve, I know there’s some things I can improve at,” Konecny said before the game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

He has taken Matvei Michkov under his wing, and really has become an instrumental piece for Michkov’s early success in North America. One can sense the two having fun on the ice together, and they relish playing with one another during crucial stages of the game.

An Assistant Captain in Konecny continues to move up the Flyers all-time leaderboard in scoring, and it’s really great seeing him happy in Philadelphia. For the season, Konecny has netted 24 goals, and has registered 51 assists. He’s nearly averaging a point per game.
It’s just been a very good season for Konecny, as he continues to place the team on his back.
