The Flyers are really showing their potential as each game passes. They seem to know how to score, believe it or not, and they just have that winning touch or fortitude right now. The orange and black are currently on a four-game winning streak, as they prepare to play the Nashville Predators tonight.

Have we seen the best of the Flyers yet? I do believe that the Flyers are playing their best hockey of the season, as they push their record to 15-10-2. This is also good enough for second place in the Metropolitan Division. With it only being two weeks until the Christmas holiday, is it too early to predict the NHL Playoffs?

With the Flyers currently in the middle of the mix for the playoffs, in my opinion, yes it is too early to predict the NHL Playoff outlook. The trade deadline has yet to commence, and the Flyers could be subtractors at the trade deadline. There are too many variables that could transpire following the trade deadline, and that could have negative impacts on the team. If it were the middle of the season right now, that may give some a better outlook to predict the NHL Playoffs.

The Flyers defeated the Colorado Avalanche, and the Arizona Coyotes 4-1 on this road trip. They also beat the Pittsburgh Penguins twice recently. As stated above This has propelled them the second place in the Metropolitan Division, and for once the Flyers are looking down on some teams in the division. It feels like that hasn’t happened in a decade which is false, just figuratively saying

In the end, why would anyone be talking about the playoffs right now? It’s just fun to do such, especially with the Flyers being in the midst of a rebuild. If the orange and black keep playing the way they are right now, maybe in the end they can actually make it. It would be nice to give the Flyers young players experience.
