Lauren Hart knows how to pump up a crowd. She does it for Flyers games as she rocks both the United States and Canadian National Anthems well. Hart is the daughter of the late Gene Hart, whom was the Flyers announcer for 29 years.
Lauren, also performed a duet of “God Bless America” with a taped version of Kate Smith during playoff games. For Hart’s efforts, in a 2005 Hockey News poll, she was voted the best anthem singer in the NHL.
Well, I got some great news Flyers fans. She will be rocking Citizens Bank Park tonight. The best anthemist in the NHL will be singing God Bless America during the 7th inning of the Phillies game tonight. This is a must see.
Hart has a great voice, so this is a treat for the fans tonight. Game time is set for 7:45pm tonight. Hopefully, they allow all fans to watch this, and do not go to a commercial when this transpires. She is used to raucous crowds, and tonight shall be no different.
