The Flyers were dead in the water, falling behind 2-0 to a great Dallas Stars team. But, they stormed back and nearly tied the game at three, as they continue to show resiliency.

Ivan Fedotov struggled, as the orange and black continue to get inconsistent Goaltending. One game Fedotov plays well, and the next Samuel Ersson struggles. They just continue to struggle.
Fedotov allowed two goals on three shots in the first period. Yes, you are reading that right. The Stars only mustered three shots on net in the first period, and Fedotov allowed two goals on those shots.
There is another reason they are now on a four game skid,. The Power Play is just dreadful. It’s horrible, as they continued to struggle on it yet again. The Flyers are now 0-27 on the Power Play since their seven game homestand. Just imagine if they had a decent Power Play. They would be in the playoffs mix, that’s for sure.

The Flyers are in a long rebuild, and they plan to add this offseason, as Flyers’ Head Coach John Tortorella says they should take the next step in the rebuild. They need more talent to beat these good teams like the Stars, and win this time of year. Unfortunately, the Flyers continue to struggle playoff time this time of year.
Maybe they can get a good draft pick in the offseason, and it can help make this team a playoff team. Hey, at least the Flyers are competitive, and not quitting on the season.
