This is not a typo the Flyers are one of the hottest teams in the NHL, yes the entire NHL as they are now 7-1 in their past eight games. The way this team has rallied behind each other is something special. They’re really building a unique culture, and it’s a breath of fresh air in Philadelphia for once.

And he does it again, he does it again. How many times does season has someone said that Travis Konecny and Carter Hart have done it again. Quite often right!!! Konecny is red hot right now as his 10 game point streak has been halted. Even though, he did not get on the stat sheet he was still one of the best skaters for the Flyers.

He now has 10g,8a in his last 11 games played. It’s an unbelievable feat and it was the first 10 game point streak for the Flyers since the 2017-18 season when Claude Giroux had a 10 game point streak. He attracted a lot of attention from the Caps last night in a 3-1 victory, and it opened the ice for other players. That’s how good TK has been lately.

The puck is just finding his stick, but a lot of that has to do with Konecny. He’s a confident player, and wants the puck, so he’s driving hard to the net while looking for the puck at all times. Konecny has been elusive, and tough to take the Puck from. Hopefully he keeps it up, as he is now tied his career high and goals scored with 24, and they’re still 39 games left of the season.

“Grinding, Allie’s goal was a big goal. Not one particular thing. I think we played well as a team.” – John Tortorella

Joel Farabee extended his point streak to five games, and he’s another player that is oozing with confidence. He finally looks like the old “Beezer”. Farabee tallied another assist giving him 3g,4a in his last 5 games played. The youth are flourishing under John Tortorella. He has done an amazing job with instilling confidence to the youth.

Look at Carter Hart after backstopping 40 tough shots against the Capitals. He notched his 75th career victory, as he sits in sole possession of 10th All-Time amongst Flyers goaltenders in wins. Mind you Hart is just 24-years-old, and some of us forget that. For his efforts, Hart is just two wins away from 9th All-Time in Flyers victories for a goaltender currently held by Doug Favell with 77. This young Flyers team is just a very confident one right now as they are 7-1 in their last seven games.

“When you score two goals back to back you’re not chasing the game as much, so that’s a good job by us.” – Scott Laughton

Let’s see what transpires on Monday against the Boston Bruins at 1pm. The same type of effort will be needed against a very tough Bruins team, as they are looking to go 8-1 over a tough nine game stretch.
