What a week it was for the Flyers. If the season ended today the orange and black would finish third in the Metro, yes third in the Metro, with 35 points. Here are some weekly video highlights captured by our very own Ricky Brown, from a whirlwind Flyers week that was.

Sean Couturier has played this season with one arm, and this was his eighth of the season. He now has 21 points in 27 games played this season.

One player that needed a good week was Jakub Voracek. This was a much better week for him, as he potted two goals.

Tyler Pitlick is as hard-working as they come for the Flyers. Finally, 100 % after recovering from off-season wrist surgery, he simply does it all, “Tyler is a good hard-nosed player,” Alain Vigneault said on turkey day, “He kills penalties, finishes his checks, he’s a meat and potatoes type of player, maybe not top 9 all the time, but he can fill in from time to time. He’s a good fourth line player.”

Like Pitlick, there aren’t many Flyers players that are more hard-working than Scott Laughton. He does everything the coaching staff asks of him, and does it well.

The Captain, oh my Captain. He is the engine that runs the Flyers.

Back to back games with a tally for the hard-working Laughton.

There is a Ghost sighting. I’m scared for my life!!! Ghost really needed that one to start feeling good about himself again.

This goal was originally Justin Braun’s first as a Flyer. However, this goal is now credited to Oskar Lindblom, and it’s his 11th of the season.

Joel Farabee’s vision of the ice is impeccable. He found a wide open Kevin Hayes, and he potted the biscuit in the basket.

The energizer bunny in Travis Konecny makes no mistake about this goal. Konecny has earned his contract of $5.5 million this season. This was Konecny’s ninth goal of the season, and his 25th point this season in 27 games played.

Holy Moly geez Louise, what a freaking goal by Ivan Provorov. I could watch this goal all day, and it really reminded me of the days of Mark Howe. Provorov has been fantastic this season, and has earned his $6.75 million salary. He now has six goals, and eleven assists on the season.

What a week it was for the Flyers. Stay tuned next week for another weekly video update from @flyersknitty.
