The Delaware Thunder had many unknowns in just their first season in Harrington, DE, at an arena that would become known as the “Thunderdome.” Who would have thought the people of the first state would gravitate towards the sport of hockey the way that Thunder fans did? That’s exactly what transpired, low and behold the people of the first state fell in love with this team. They fell in love with it’s personality of leaving everything out on the ice. Well great news Thunder fans, the Delaware Thunder are back, and they are prouder than ever.

The Thunder released their schedule yesterday, and I will guarantee the “Thundapack” will pack the house on a nightly basis.

Delaware, the Thunder are back, and so is a proud Flyers fan in a great hockey player in Ryan “Magic” Marker. He plays in all situations the coaching staff asks of him, and he wanted to play closer to his hometown of New Jersey. Marker is an excellent skater that has great acceleration or a first step, has great vision of the ice, and can hit the net nine times out of ten. In addition, a fan favorite in Alex Basey is back as he is ready to hit everything that moves:

“I am ready to go, can’t wait to bring the noise back to the Thunderdome!”– Alex Basey said to Charlie Pens Sr. in a statement from the team following his signing

There will be a lot of noise at the Thunderdome this season, as the stadium holds up to 752 people. Whatever the case maybe, “Let’s roll Thunder.”
