The Flyers affiliate, the Reading Royals made a major change yesterday, and it comes at the cost of a coach. Royals General Manager David Farrar tries to salvage the season, thus firing second year Head Coach James Henry.
This shocked many throughout the Royals community, but they are trying to salvage the season as they sit only five points out if a playoff spot somehow. They currently have a record of 16-19, but the Royals have a horrendous goal differential of -22 (120GF, 142GA).
Enter former Assistant Coach Jason Binkley. He is familiar with the team, so this move was a no brainer. Let’s hope the Royals get back Shane Sellar, and are able to right the ship.
