John Snowden has been named the Head Coach of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Flyers. He was named coach on July 14, 2025, after serving as an Assistant Coach with the Phantoms for two seasons.

Snowden, a native of Everett, Washington, previously coached the Newfoundland Growlers to a Kelly Cup championship in 2019 and has also served as an assistant coach with the Toronto Marlies.

Terrence Wallin and Nick Schultz are assistant coaches for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, as announced on July 14, 2025.

  • Terrence Wallin, 33, from Yardley, Pennsylvania, joins the Phantoms after serving as head coach of the ECHL’s Maine Mariners for three seasons (2022–2025), where he led the team to a 107-94-15 record and playoff appearances in 2023 and 2024. Wallin also served as the Mariners’ general manager in 2023–24. Before coaching, he played professionally for five years, including 27 AHL games and stints with the Mariners, and was a two-time Hockey East champion at UMass Lowell. His connection to the Flyers includes working under current Flyers GM Danny Briere, who traded for Wallin as a player and later appointed him as an assistant coach with the Mariners.
  • Nick Schultz, 42, from Strasbourg, Saskatchewan, is a 15-year NHL veteran defenseman who played 1,069 games, including 189 with the Flyers (2014–2017). After retiring, he joined the Flyers organization in 2019 as a player development coach and later served as assistant director of player development (2023–2025), working closely with prospects like Bobby Brink and Cam York. This is his first professional coaching role behind the bench. Schultz has been a frequent presence at Phantoms practices, mentoring young players at PPL Center.
