What are we bringing to light this week you may be asking? Well, how about how the Philadelphia Flyers should be looking to reassess their choice in medical staff? The number of injuries and re-injuries that have occurred over recent years (including this one) is alarming. This season the Flyers have managed to average double digits totals (players) on the injured reserve list for most of the season. We move on to discuss my latest article that talks about some unsigned Flyers’ prospects who are in need of a contract because they could help the big club as early as next season. Let’s face it with the way the Flyers have been playing this season they can pretty much assume that no star free agent signings will be in their future this off season. So, instead of signing the same old dinosaurs to fill their roster like every other off season, they should place trust in their own prospects and ink a few to an entry-level deal so that they can battle for a spot on the teams’ opening night roster for next season.
