Welcome back to the Hockey Writers Ink Pod Cast where in this week’s show myself and Steel were joined once again by Joe Borek from the J.B. & Steel show. Up for discussion this week we take a look to the draft where after the town hall meeting by Chuck Fletcher and Dave Scott we found out that management has all but come to the conclusion that they will be sellers this spring.
Meaning, Philadelphia could potentially have two first round picks this off season if they decide to trade away their long time captain Claude Giroux who is an impending unrestricted free agent at this season’s end. Hearing this along with Chuck clearly stating that he thinks the team must look for some top end talent moving forward. I wrote an article recently that suggested two potential top-end players that will be available at the time the Flyers draft one early and one later in the round. Join us to hear what we all thought of those selections and who the other two panelist might have in mind for the team to select come draft day.

With a slew of first time talents being involved this time around it will not be the same old song and dance that we the fans have been forced to watch over the years. As we know the league is changing and so are the faces that are the driving force behind these teams.
