On this week’s very special episode of the Hockey Writers Ink Steel and I were fortunate enough to get to sit down with 2022 NHL Entry Draft Prospect Connor Kurth from the United States Hockey League’s (USHL) Dubuque Fighting Saints. Where Connor, currently finds himself in a tie for second in goals this season in the USHL with 19 and ranks third in the league in total points with 44. So, with a 1.41 points per game average it is easy to see why he is already committed to attend and play for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers next season. Kurth was just one of the players due to go in the mid to late rounds that I suggested the Flyers should have on their draft radar this past week in my article you can read below.
Then, in the second segment of the show, we talk about what the Flyers should do come March 21st, 2022 (the trade deadline). The team is obviously faltering as of late and does have a lot of unrestricted free agents that could coveted by some potential playoff teams. So, we break down who should stay and who should go.
Again, we just want to say thank you to the very talented Connor Kurth for joining us this week on the show and we hope to see him potentially playing here in Philadelphia real soon.
