Yes, Ekholm would be nice but might there be a Plan-B option out there that could provide the same kind of shut down defense but who might cost the team less to obtain? This writer thinks so, and if the Flyers then don’t have to give up the farm to acquire that defensman might they then use some of their more valuable assets to go after a top line scorer?
